For people with hearing loss we offer innovative technology and services that make communication accessible in everyday situations — free of charge for personal use. Our two main products are the eScribeDroid mobile app and the e-kos calling portal.

eScribeDroid — transcription on your phone

eScribeDroid is a mobile app that brings remote transcription to your own device. It is designed to work anywhere you have mobile data or Wi-Fi.

• Free mobile app — available for personal use at no charge.
• 100 free minutes of transcription a month — thanks to Transkript and our partners.
• Availability — transcribers are on shift on working days from 9:00 to 18:00 (Central European Time).
• Automatic speech recognition — available free and without limits, outside transcriber hours too.
• Archived transcripts — every session is saved so you can read it again later.

Once you are signed in, a single button calls a transcriber. When they pick up, a transcript opens automatically and the sound around your device's microphone is carried to them over internet telephony. The transcriber starts writing straight away, and the text appears on your screen.

That means you can ask for transcription whenever and wherever you need it — at the doctor's, at a public office, in a shop or when dealing with a tradesperson. For security reasons, no third party can join a transcription session.

e-kos — phone calls with live transcription

The communication portal e-kos.cz lets you call any phone number with transcription support.

• Call any number with a live transcript of what the other side says.
• Simple to use — open the portal in a browser and start the call.
• Available on working days from 9:00 to 18:00 (Central European Time).

The portal is built so that people with hearing loss can make phone calls effectively and easily, without running into communication barriers.
